Edgar and Alan worked in their parents' book store at a very early age, not for money, but for survival guides and tactics. They somehow surmised, and were correct, that their hometown Santa Carla was fraught with vampires, so they read a book called Vampires Everywhere! to learn how to destroy blood-suckers. Both brothers grew up to become vampire hunters. They created their own Merchant company to travel the lands while making some coin along the way. This led them to befriend Dr. Helsing and to be associated with the Helsing Association. One fateful night, Edgar and Alan were on a vampire hunt. Edgar suffered a deadly blow. Heart broken, Alan prayed to the gods to bring back Edgar. 3 days later, Edgar came back from the dead. Through science, it was determined that Edgar was not a vampire. He was something else with no memories of his previous time before death. Alan taught Edgar and shared of their memories together. Edgar, was still not his former self, but he regained the passion to destroy all vampires. With his return to life, Edgar somehow was able to use magic.
Born under a blood-red comet, Trevor was marked from the start as someone destined for greatness—or ruin. Growing up on the streets, he learned quickly that magic could dazzle, frighten, and deceive in equal measure. With a silver tongue and a knack for conjuring sparks and illusions, he earned coin by posing as a prophet, healer, and fortune-teller—selling lies wrapped in just enough truth to keep people hooked. Behind the roguish smile and flamboyant tricks, though, lurks a genuine talent for sorcery that he barely understands. His heritage ties him to arcane forces older and darker than he admits, and while he uses charm and fraud to mask his insecurities, he knows one day the lies may run out. After getting into a drunken barfight Trevor stumbled down the road in a think fog only to arrive at another bar in a place he had never been.
May their names be spoken, their deeds remembered, and their dice forever roll true.
